Solidly
built this log home has the added advantage of two stories. This
allows
for coolness during the hot balmy summer months.
The
lower level comprises a rear deck off the double volume dining
room.
The
dining room wall is double volume and boasts a glass wall floor
to
ceiling,
opening onto the rear deck.
This
deck is protected by indigenous vegetation, creating a shade
area
and
that sub-tropical feeling.
The
lounge is open plan to the dining room and boasts a more than
ample
front
deck running the entire length of the unit. This deck has a
backdrop
of
both the estuary mouth and Indian Ocean.
The
kitchen is fitted and well appointed with ample cupboard space.
Sleeping
quarters on the lower level comprise 3 bedrooms, all with
built
in cupboards.

of the bedrooms open out onto the front deck and share the
estuary
and sea views. The main bedroom is en suite and a built in

The
remaining two bedrooms on this level share a full bathroom.
Upstairs
the entire floor is devoted to a spacious air-conditioned
bedroom,
with
one wall given over to large sheets of glass. The views from
this
vantage
point are truly astounding.
A
single under cover parking is allotted to this unit.
The
lodge has a communal wooden deck pool and poolside thatch
entertainment
area.
In
addition, the complex has its own jetty for a short row down to
the
powdery
sands and back. Just load up the picnic goodies and head for
the
sand.
Although
this unit is situated in the ultra elite village of Southbroom,
and
this complex has an up-market feel, the atmosphere is just sheer
luxury
in unpretentious tones.
